For more than 50 years, Learning Links has been committed to supporting children with learning difficulties and disabilities to realise their full potential. They provide evidence-based therapy, education, and support services, to help kids build the skills and confidence they need to learn and live a life without limits.
Sporties loves what this organisation offers children in our community and since 2016, the Club has contributed over $125,000 towards their programs which has enhanced the education of 120 students.
In 2023, we focused our donation on Nuwarra Public School, donating $34,950 to the Learning Links Speech Therapy in Schools program there.
The funding provides a qualified Speech Pathologist for students with speech, language, and communication challenges, which without intervention, can significantly impact their academic and social development.
They focus on early intervention and help kids with speech sound disorders, phonological awareness skills, and reading comprehension skills.
