Congratulations to the NSW Australian Defence Force Netball team who recently took part in the Combined Services National Championships in Darwin.
For the second year running, our state fielded two ladies’ teams in the competition with the senior group finishing sixth.
Most players in the men’s team were new to the ADF Championships and did exceptionally well, making it through the round-robin stage with only two losses. Unfortunately, they fell at the final hurdle, going down to Southeast Queensland in the final.
And the mixed team performed strongly and made the finals, only to go down by two points to the Northern Territory side.
Several NSW members were also selected in ADF Representative sides for 2024, with the AMMNA National Championships coming up in Brisbane in early April.
