Sporties is proud to announce it has allocated $145,000 in funding to its five associated sporting groups, supporting 1,765 junior and senior players for season 2024.
This Category Two ClubGRANTS funding is designed to enhance the growth and development of grassroots sport in our local area.
MOOREBANK SOCCER CLUB
Funding will go towards playing and training uniforms for 875 junior and senior players, the employment of a Technical Director for semi-professional teams, the provision of First Aid Kits for game day and training, and the purchase of new portable goals.
MOOREBANK RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB
Funding will cover the cost of the junior presentation day and senior presentation night, participation trophies for 466 players, field maintenance at Hammondville Park, and the creation of a Yearbook.
MOOREBANK NETBALL CLUB
Funding will cover representative levies and costs associated with State Age Championships, coaching courses and clinics, umpiring courses, the purchase of additional equipment and player patches for training and game days, the purchase of club polo shirts, and presentation trophies and awards.
MOOREBANK BASEBALL SOFTBALL CLUB
Funding will cover the cost of rewiring the main diamond at Hammondville Park with heavy gauged wire, as well as costs associated with presentation day for all junior and senior players.
MOOREBANK CRICKET CLUB
Funding will cover the cost of newly designed game day and training shirts for all players, and new signage around the ground at Hammondville Park.
