Moorebank Sports would like to congratulate Hammondville Public School which is celebrating 90 years in the local community this year.
Our Club was honoured to be the major sponsor for their special birthday event on 16 September which included historical displays, market stalls, food trucks, vehicle and defence displays, inflatables and kids’ entertainment, and live performances.
The school had a huge turnout at the event with hundreds of people streaming through the front gates to celebrate.
Moorebank Sports CEO Jeff Gibbs was invited to speak and paid tribute to the teachers, support staff, parents, and students, who have all contributed to the school community over nine decades.
Sporties also had two team members onsite at a stall, giving away balloons and spinning wheels to the kids.
All money raised from the day will go towards IT upgrades and advanced access to STEM programs, shade sales and playground upgrades, and solar lighting throughout the school.
Sporties looks forward to celebrating many more years together in the local community with Hammondville Public School.
