We were proud to support the Georges River Life Care Backpack Appeal again this year; donating supplies, packing bags, and serving as a local collection point for public contributions.
On Thursday 11 December, our team delivered backpacks to eight primary and secondary schools in the local area. Thanks to the generosity of our staff and community, we packed and delivered 150 bags, with an additional 50 bags worth of supplies left over to be donated to local charities in the new year. This marked 2025 as our most successful year for donations!
A special shoutout to Freedom Fitness, Kellie Hill, and our staff member Marcello for their significant contributions to this important cause. Also a shoutout to our Sporties representatives and GRLC volunteers who donated their time to pack or deliver bags.
We hope this support helps ensure local students start the school year with confidence and the essentials they need.
