ClubGRANTS 2024
Every year, Sporties extends a helping hand to community organisations that provide vital services for people in our local area.
In 2023-24, we supported five organisations with $108,605 in financial contributions through ClubGRANTS.
In addition, we provided support through in-kind donations and sponsorships for initiatives such as Cash Housie, food hampers and school backpacks for Georges River Life Care, a defibrillator for the Sandy Point community, wool donations for our wonderful knitting ladies, and Sporties dollars for community events and raffles.
Miracle Babies Foundation
“Better, healthier outcomes for newborns and their families challenged by prematurity and sickness.”
Miracle Babies aims to improve, support and enhance the lives of those impacted by a premature or sick birth.

PROJECT: Community Connect
Since 2020, GRLC has been developing support services in the Liverpool LGA with particular focus on supporting families and households experiencing hardship. They have been supplying food hampers, Christmas hampers, and school backpacks to some of the most vulnerable families in the area.
In 2022, GRLC began hosting fortnightly lunches at local schools on Sundays where families can come together in a safe and positive environment and pick up a quality pantry hamper that will help to keep food on the table.
The organisation assists 50-60 households every month and they receive new referrals from local schools on a regular basis.
Sporties’ funding will allow GRLC to purchase items for these lunches and their hampers to keep our community fed.
