BreastScreen is coming to the Sporties Carpark!

BreastScreen NSW will be visiting Sporties with their mobile screening van, conveniently located in the Club carpark, making it easier for local women to look after their health close to home.

BreastScreen NSW offers free breast screening for women aged 40 and over, with regular screening especially important for women aged 50 to 74, when the majority of breast cancers occur. A breast screen can detect changes early, often before they can be seen or felt, and early detection saves lives.

The appointment takes around 20 minutes, no doctor’s referral is needed, and all screenings are performed by female radiographers.

By hosting this service at Sporties, we are proud to support the health and wellbeing of our community and encourage women to take this important step for themselves and their families.
