This year, our Giving Tree appeal proudly partnered with the NICU at Liverpool Hospital, collecting gifts for babies, toddlers and primary-school-aged children to support babies in hospital care and their families during the festive season.
On Tuesday 17 December we had the privilege of delivering the presents directly to the NICU ward, and we were truly overwhelmed by the generosity shown by our local community. With too many gifts to count, we estimate that more than 150 donations were received over the past month!
To ensure every cot received a gift, we purchased 40 identical presents, and were delighted to see there were more than enough to go around. We hope these gifts help bring comfort, joy and a very Merry Christmas to every family supported by the NICU.
Thank you to the hospital staff for their ongoing support, and our heartfelt thanks to our local community — to every person who donated and contributed to the success of this appeal. We look forward to supporting this wonderful cause again next year.
